Vance Breshears specializes in bringing together all the elements that create great space. With a wide range of experience in facility planning, sound system design, acoustical analysis and AV systems design, Vance is recognized not only as an industry leader but innovator and problem solver.

Bringing over 20 years of experience to each project, Vance’s work includes church facilities, auditoriums, sports facilities and theme park projects around the world. Founding Sound Technology Consultants in 1995, he has built a broad-based consulting firm dedicated to the creative integration of acoustics, technology and architectural planning. Since forming STC, Vance has been involved in over 500 design projects worldwide.

With an extensive background in both physics and electronics, Vance is known for his ability to perceive the acoustical characteristics and define the physics of a space. He is then able to decisively translate that into a design that meets all the intended needs of the venue. This ability and his experience with a wide variety of system applications is the reason he has been sought out by leading pro-audio manufacturers as an advisor and consultant for new product development and strategic market planning. Vance is an author and featured speaker covering the topics of acoustical design, multi-channel sound system design and creating intimacy in the design of worship facilities. His innovative multi-channel speaker system designs have been implemented in many noteworthy projects throughout the country.

Vance holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from the University of Southern California and has served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He considers flying one of life’s greatest passions and holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate with single-engine, multi-engine, instrument and helicopter ratings. His leadership style and enthusiasm for a great design is what drives STC to bring innovative thinking to each project.
