With a broad background in both vocal music and audio systems design, Kelly Dunlop understands the details that go into creating a great space. Her intensive training and performance in classical music combines with her wide-range of industry experience for a perspective that our clients appreciate. Joining STC in 2005, Kelly brings this balance to all her work making her a key designer on our team.


After graduating with a Music Industry degree from the University of Southern California, Kelly started out in AV contracting. Soon she was working as a designer for an audiovisual consulting firm specializing in technical systems for large performing arts venues. It was during this time that Kelly developed a passion for loudspeaker design and acoustics. Her additional professional skills include room acoustical modeling, video systems design and sound systems design for music and speech applications. Along with these design skills, Kelly is a talented and effective project manager. She is passionate not only about performing but most things in life… and this includes designing for our clients an audio system that is not only cost effective but tailored to the needs of the space.
